Tray system attaches to manual wheelchairs, desktop length arms

This bracket does not work with "Full length arms."
The bracket attaches to "desktop length arms" that have a pipe diameter of 19 - 22.5 mm.

Top of the bracket needs 3 1/4 inches of horizontal pipe to attach and at least 1 1/4 inch vertical pipe to attach to on the side of the armchair pipe.

Clamp Shell Bracket Parts

Overview of bracket that fits onto the wheelchair. This includes needing to use 4 black inserted adapters that click into place for pipe diameters of 19-20.5 mm. If the pipe diameters are larger, 21-22.5mm, you do NOT need these adapters.
{Note in the pictures we used gray parts to best illustrate the difference between the bracket and the 2 adapters that inserted into each side. The actual product adapters are black. If you have a wider diameter pipe like on the Drive Sentra then you will need to remove these adapters.}

Pro-tips: The adapters snap into place so you do not have to hold them while assembling both sides of the bracket.
Use a philips screwdriver for the bolt head that goes through the round holes on bracket B. At the same time you can use a Q-tip to hold the hex nuts into place on bracket side.

Tray Assembly Parts

List of the main parts of the tray and block assembly. See the next video to view how they are assembled.

The middle blocks are ONLY added if you need additional height for the tray to clear your knees and may not be needed by some people.

The 3/4 inch thread cutting screws are used to hold the blocks together and for creating a thread for the rail stop to the rail, see note below.

Four 10mm screws need to be snuggly screwed into the rail attaching it to the bottom side of the tray.

Note:
After securing the rail with four screws, slide on the female block. Add a rail stop and screw it in place using a thread-cutting screw (the same screw used on the blocks). Insert the thread cutter screw HALFWAY, then remove it. Now, add the fifth 10mm rail screw. It should go in much easier.

Block Assembly

Depending on the type of wheelchair you have the desktop arm may be 2 - 5 inches lower than the main arm rest. Plus, people have unique leg shapes so you can use different number of middle blocks to adjust the height of the tray.

At bare minimum, you need to add the female block to the rail, then screw in the male block. If you need more height, you can add a middle block(s).

Careful when you seat the male block onto the bracket you do not pinch your finger.

We suggest you use the bottom of you palm to push up the pipe that extends beyond the bottom of the bracket. Once this pipe is flush with the bottom of the bracket you just need to push the tray slightly toward you or away for it to rotate and seat onto the bracket. This is the safest way to rotate the tray.
